Our 2019 YTD PPM is 85, while maintaining excellent on-time delivery for production and service parts. How does SK Express balance these two competing factors you ask; experience, standards, and discipline. Quality doesn’t happen by accident- it requires an unwavering dedication to standards and processes, while at the same time being open to new methodologies. From our early days, SK Express adopted Lean and Six Sigma processes. Most firms promote a focus on quality, and while this may be true, SK Express embodies quality. In addition to being ISO 9001:2015 certified, we have also been awarded numerous quality awards by our clients, including the Caterpillar Platinum Level Supplier Quality Excellence Process. To validate our quality controls SK leverages robust testing procedures including but not limited to:
- Modular, in-line electrical testing
- Pogo mating fixtures
- Dynalab test scanners
- Crimp tensile strength tester
- Hi-pot test up to 1500 VDC and 1000 VAC
- Ethernet and high-speed signal test capability
